Draw This Again Meme (2011-2015)

I absolutely used to love this drawing. Of course, now that I have improved I can see exactly what I could have worked on to improve faster if I so wanted to. Back then I wasn't really interested in improving, and in fact thought that I was already amazing and didn't need to work hard to improve! That's the mind of younger artists, I suppose. And that's cool! Don't let anyone tell you your drawings are shitty! But also learn to take constructive criticism.

My lines were so shaky, I had poor control of my hand. I still sorta do I guess? I didn't take too much care to color inside the lines, or even connect them. Line thickness variation was never something that crossed my mind back then. Thin lines are good in some ways, but I much prefer thicker lines with some weight variation haha.
That pose is terrible. Loki looks uncomfortable, as they should be! I think I was trying to make them look uncomfortable to begin with. Also I should mention that the before picture was considered "shaded and finished". That said, I can barely even tell there was shading there to begin with! And ugh, don't get me started on the muzzle. It looks horrible! Squashed, pasted on as if it's not even a part of the face or skull underneath! 

Loki's design had quite a few overhauls over the years! They used to be a Fox/German Shepard hybrid. I since have removed the "fox" part, and changed the red hair and markings to pink, which looks much nicer imho. Before that, I had changed the tail (which you can see, the basic design actually stayed!) so that the tip was actually matched Loki's hair, back when it was red. 
Loki's skin and insides have ALWAYS been purple. Their eyes used to be purple too, but I had changed them to orange, and then orange with the pink ring and purple pupils. Loki's ears also stayed the same since I very first created my fursona! So has the back marking, which you cant see the tiny detail in the back here but... it's on the internet somewhere.
